Monthly social hour for adults offered at MCPL Wausau

WAUSAU – The public library might not seem like a place where you’d meet new people and strike up a
conversation, but that’s exactly what the Marathon County Public Library (MCPL) is hoping people will
do during its monthly roundtable social hour! Let’s Talk Social Hour will be held on May 10 from 1 p.m.
to 2 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St.,
Wausau.
Multiple tables will be set up for the event, along with some conversation prompts (in case you need
them). Participants will sit down and talk with another attendee for about 10 minutes, then switch
tables and talk with someone else for another 10 minutes, and so on and so forth. This will be a great
way to meet new people and get to know others in your community a little bit!
