WAUSAU – The Aspirus Festival of Trees will look a little different this year.

“Because your well-being and safety is a top priority, the Aspirus Health Foundation (AHF) has made the difficult decision not to gather in person for Festival of Trees this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” an Aspirus release stated.

“Festival of Trees is a beloved holiday tradition, and AHF intends to continue that tradition by keeping the spirit of Festival of Trees alive this year and going virtual for 2020 with online events and online auction.”

During the 24th annual Festival of Trees, anyone can view the online gallery and bidding will be available Nov. 24-29.

“We will have trees, wreaths, centerpieces, and more in our online auction and in a few community locations. New fun, virtual activities will be shared throughout the week of Thanksgiving for a festive good time,” the release added.

“All proceeds benefit the needs of patients and families served through Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services to help provide high-quality end-of-life care for people in our community and supports two community bedrooms at the Aspirus Hospice House for people who otherwise could not afford to stay in the Hospice House.”

Join AHF for our virtual opening night Gala on Nov. 24.
