Marathon County libraries offer youth grab & go craft events

MARATHON COUNTY – During the week of June 28-July 2, Marathon County public libraries will offer the following grab & go craft opportunities for youth:
Jack & the Beanstalk
Children can bring the story of “Jack & the Beanstalk” to life by getting a grab & go kit from the Marathon County Public Library’s Spencer Branch, 105 S. Park St., Spencer, or the Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild. Kits will contain a bean seed, supplies to grow the seed, and a link to an online video of library staff reading the story. Gnome & Toadstool
Kids can enter the world of make-believe and craft their own gnomes and toadstools with a grab & go craft kit from the Marathon County Public Library’s Athens Branch, 221 Caroline St., Athens. Kits contain all the supplies needed to make the crafts and can be picked up any time the branch is open. For more information, call 715-257-7292.
All kits are free, with a limit of one per child.
