MCPL Stratford Branch goes to the birds with January 23 event

Do you want to learn more about the birds that inhabit or visit Wisconsin or how you can attract them to your yard? Visit the Marathon County Public Library for an educational event that will teach you these things (and more!) on January 23 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the library’s Stratford Branch, 213201 Scholar St., Stratford.
During this event, attendees will learn about birds that inhabit Wisconsin or that are known to visit the area at various times of the year, as well as how to attract them to your own backyard! Attendees can also create a bird feeder and a nature journal, with all supplies provided.
A follow-up to this event, Birding for Beginners II, will be held on February 20.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-687-4420 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/6716.
