Basil LLC will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate new ownership at the restaurant at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 10. This event is open to the public and will be held at 2106 Schofield Avenue. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a private dinner at 6 p.m.

Basil was opened nine years ago by James and Tee Daly, the parents of new owner Samantha Fischer.

“I have helped my parents run Basil for about five years,” said Fischer. “I bought the restaurant from them in May and plan on keeping the integrity and quality of Bail while adding some modern twists.”

Basil offers a unique dining experience, featuring borderless cuisine and more than 100 scotch and whiskey varieties and a large wine list and rotation of craft beers.
Basil is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information about the restaurant, call 715-298-0677 or visit basilweston.com.
