Write a letter to Santa during month-long program at MCPL branches

The holiday season is right around the corner, so why not get festive by writing a letter to Santa Claus? The Marathon County Public Library can help connect kids and parents to Jolly Old Saint Nick with its Letters to Santa program, running November 19 through December 14 at its Athens (221 Caroline St., Athens) and Hatley (435 Curtis Ave., Hatley) Branches.
Parents can pick up a blank letter from either the Athens Branch or Hatley Branch beginning November 19. Children can then drop off their completed letter in Santa’s Mailbox at either branch any time through December 14. The library will send all the letters up to the North Pole and children can expect to receive their handwritten responses by mail in mid-December!
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call the Athens Branch at 715-257-7292, call the Hatley Branch at 715-446-3537 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/6734.
