MCPL Wausau to offer event celebrating writer/illustrator Eric Carle
Join the Marathon County Public Library as they celebrate well-known children’s author Eric Carle and the 50th anniversary of his award-winning children’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar on November 24 from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Library staff will read The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Very Lonely Firefly and other books by Carle. After story time, kids and families can also participate in making crafts related to the books and other activities, with all supplies provided!
