Forest Park Village to hold ribbon cutting

Forest Park Village will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a newly expanded fitness room at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 15 at 2901 North Seventh Street.
As a provider of services to older adults in the Wausau community, Forest Park Village embraces the concept of creating and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. The organization has offered a fitness room and weekly exercise classes for some time. The completion of an expanded fitness room with new equipment will offer a more user-friendly experience for the older exerciser.
Support for this project was provided through the North Central Health Protection Fund of the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, the B.A. and Esther Greenheck Foundation and the Dudley Foundation. The residents of Forest Park Village appreciate the generous support the community continues to provide for them.
