True North Counseling & Wellness LLC will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate a completed expansion and remodeling project on Friday, Oct. 12 at 9:30 a.m. at 500 Third St., Suite 208. The event will kick off an open house to be held until 10:30 a.m.

“We chose to celebrate during this week with Wednesday being World Mental Health Day and Friday marking the conclusion of Mental Illness Awareness Week,” said Christine Steckart Ellis, owner, clinical director and licensed professional counselor. “We are looking forward to celebrating our newly renovated space and to recognize an incredible first year partnering with our community to cultivate and grow mental wellness in central Wisconsin.”

True North Counseling & Wellness LLC focuses on helping individuals restore hope, generate healing and cultivate empowerment in their lives. These goals are achieved through individual, couples and family mental health counseling and health coaching, along with organizational consulting and employee assistance development and solutions.

Treatment specialties at the agency include therapy for depression, anxiety and trauma (EMDR and Brainspotting); counseling for children; couples counseling; family counseling; parenting support; grief counseling; work and career issues; stress management; addiction and recovery issues; and conflict resolution.

“We look forward to empowering individuals to live their best life and sharing our passion for mental wellness,” said Steckart Ellis.
