MCPL Wausau to host filmmaker, screen documentary on Oct. 23
Visit the Marathon County Public Library for a free screening of the documentary In Search of America – and meet the film’s director! – on October 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Filmmaker Marc Kornblatt spent months traveling across the country – starting and ending in his home state of Wisconsin – to speak with people during the 2016 presidential primaries. But In Search of America is not about politics. Rather, Kornblatt focuses on dozens of people from diverse backgrounds about what matters to them in their own lives – people he met on the street, through political party offices, even people he met in bars. Kornblatt will also attend the film screening at MCPL and will be available afterward for questions.
