Fun, stories and firefighters come to MCPL Hatley Branch October 9
It’s Fire Prevention Week and the Marathon County Public Library will celebrate with stories and a visit from some local firefighters on October 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at its Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley.
Kids and families can hear stories about firefighters, then meet some local ones from the Hatley Fire Department, who will share their knowledge about fire prevention and show children what attire they wear while fighting fires. A fire truck or rescue vehicle will be available for children to examine in the library’s parking lot.
