Rothschild Police Department reports Click It or Ticket enforcement results

Rothschild Police Department officers issued 10 tickets for Failure to Fasten Safety Belts during the annual Click It or Ticket mobilization from May 21 to June 3.
In addition, during the Click It or Ticket intensified safety belt enforcement period, officers issued citations and made arrests during traffic stops for the following:
• 23 Speeding Violations
• 2 Traffic Sign or Traffic Light Violations
• 1 Operating While Intoxicated
• 13 Operating After Revocation or Suspension Violations
• 0 Open Intoxicants
• 5 Vehicle Registration Violations
• 0 Vehicle Equipment Violations
• 56 Other Traffic Violations
• 4 Drug Arrests
• 0 Felony Arrests
• 1 Misdemeanor Arrest
• 1 Warrant Arrest
• 120 Written Warnings Issued
“During Click It or Ticket and throughout the year, we enforce traffic and other laws as part of broader efforts to make our roadways as safe as possible for all travelers,” said Chief Jeremy Hunt. “As we enter another busy travel season, we’re asking all motorists to buckle up, watch their speed and stay focused on the road at all times.”
