Learn about summer food safety at MCPL Spencer Branch

Summer is the perfect time for picnics, grilling and backyard cookouts. But how long can your food stay out before spoiling in the warm temps? Find out during a free presentation on summertime food safety on July 3 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Spencer Branch, 105 S. Park St., Spencer.
Jackie Carattini, family living educator with the Wood County UW-Extension office, will share information on keeping food safe during the warm summer months. She’ll also share some great summertime recipes!
