MCPL Rothschild Branch to offer story time promoting vegetables
Adults are always encouraging kids to eat their vegetables, but sometimes that request can seem like an uphill battle. But kids may want to start eating their greens (and reds, and yellows, etc.) after attending the Eat Your Veggies Story Time on May 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild.
Library staff will sing songs and read stories celebrating celery and other veggies. Then, attendees can participate in some fun produce-themed games and make some creative veggie crafts. All supplies will be provided.
