Wausau Pro Musica slates spring concert
Wausau Pro Musica, a select women’s community choir, under the direction of Judith Durocher Sidlowski, announces its annual Spring Concert series. The choir will present “Home Grown” on Friday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 930 Edgewood Rd., Wausau.
Join with Wausau Pro Musica as they present a spring concert dedicated to all that is home-grown and homemade. Featured pieces include striking renditions of “When the Red, Red Robin,” “This Land is Your Land,” “We Sing to Spring” and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.”
This concert series features collaboration with Merrill Senior High School Concert Choir under the direction of Joshua Olson. The five members of WPM’s Mentoring Program for Young Women in the Arts will also perform a beautiful arrangement of “Edelweis.”
As has become tradition with Wausau Pro Musica, there will be a special audience participation segment during the concert. A reception with refreshments will follow.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students and are available from choir members or at the door.
