Learn how to raise your own chickens at MCPL Mosinee Branch
Many local communities have ordinances allowing folks to raise their own chickens at home. If you’re one of the many folks who have thought about doing this, you can get more information on the topic during a free presentation on April 19 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Mosinee Branch, 123 Main St., Mosinee.
Heather Schlesser, from the UW-Extension of Marathon County, will share photos and other information, such as housing and food requirements, necessary to raise chickens at home! A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-693-2144 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4696.
