Learn composting basics during free presentation at MCPL Wausau
If you’ve thought about composting but don’t know where to start, the Marathon County Public Library can help! MCPL will offer its “All About Composting” program on April 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Paul Kage, Wausau’s Urban Community Garden Coordinator, will talk about how to compost successfully. Attendees will learn how to create compost in their very own backyard, as well as the basics of vermicomposting (composting with worms). Time will also be set aside at the end of the presentation for questions.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4882.
