Hold ‘em, fold ‘em during Poetry Poker at MCPL Marathon City Branch
Kids, tweens and teens are invited to the Marathon County Public Library to try their hand at playing poker. Poetry poker, that is! MCPL will offer this creative card game on April 20 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the library’s Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
Participants of poetry poker create an original poem by drawing word cards and arranging them in lines of verse. Attendees can play with friends and create their own poetic masterpieces to celebrate National Poetry Month!
