Book club, games for tweens to be offered April 19 at MCPL Wausau
Tweens are invited to the Marathon County Public Library to discuss their book pick for the month and to participate in some fun, competitive challenges! MCPL will offer its next Chat & Challenge Book Club meeting on April 19 from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Tweens will discuss the book Pax by Sara Pennypacker, about a young boy named Peter who is forced to give up his pet fox, Pax. Peter then decides to leave home and get his best friend back.
After the book discussion, tweens can compete against one another in a variety of fun, interactive “Minute to Win It”-style challenges! Read the book and join us for this fun and interactive afternoon!
