Visit MCPL Wausau for fun and learning with marshmallows March 22
Tweens and their parents or caregivers are invited to visit the Marathon County Public Library once a month to participate in a variety of hands-on experiments that are both fun and educational! MCPL will offer its next After School Experiments program on March 22 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
During the March session, the theme will be “Flying Marshmallows!” Attendees will create catapults and slingshots, learn about median and mean and get to shoot marshmallows around the room!
After School Experiments is held each month on the fourth Thursday, with a different theme each month. The final session of the spring will be held April 26.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4283.
