Visit MCPL Wausau for cooking demonstration with TV host Inga Witscher
Join the Marathon County Public Library for a demonstration of how to cook a popular Scandinavian dish with the host of one of Wisconsin Public Television’s (WPT) most popular shows! MCPL will welcome cook and TV host Inga Witscher on March 10 from 10 a.m. until noon at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Witscher, host of the WPT series “Around the Farm Table,” will visit the library to show folks how to make smörgåstårta. Never heard of it? It’s a savory dish that’s a cross between a sandwich and a cake and can be prepared with ingredients like smoked fish, veggies, cream cheese and fresh bread – perfect for parties, brunch or holiday gatherings!
