Visit MCPL Marathon City Branch for historical look at aprons March 19
Aprons may just seem to be a practical piece of cooking attire, but what can aprons of yesteryear tell us about society at the time? Find out during a special historical presentation on March 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
Anna Chilsen Straub from the Marathon County Historical Society will take a historical look at aprons and the purpose they served in local society through the decades. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own aprons and share stories and memories attached to them.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-443-2775 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4294.
