Marshfield Clinic offers new free cancer support group in Weston
Marshfield Clinic Weston Center will be hosting a new, monthly cancer support group called “Coping with Cancer.” It will be held the second Tuesday of every month from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Weston Center conference room 1A. This is a free program.
“Coping with Cancer is a support group for adult cancer patients and their loved ones,” said Samantha Gruetzmacher, social worker, Marshfield Clinic Medical Oncology. “Coping with Cancer allows attendees to give support to one another and provides resources such as guest speakers, coping tools and open discussion. We want to offer helpful information and emotional support to assist both patients and their loved ones in coping with a cancer diagnosis.”
All cancer patients and their support persons are encouraged to attend. Registration is not required. For more information contact Samantha Gruetzmacher, 715-393-1419.
