Kids invited to “rock” out at MCPL Wausau craft event on Feb. 19
Instead of spending the day indoors on a day off of school, kids can spend part of their afternoon painting decorative rocks at the Marathon County Public Library! MCPL will offer its “Kindness Rocks: A Rock Painting Party” on February 19 from noon to 4 p.m. at the MCPL Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Kids will have the opportunity to paint a positive quote or message on a rock that they can later place around town for others to find. They can also paint a pet rock, adorn a rock with a funky design, or anything else they desire and keep it for themselves!
