Jacobson formally announces bid for 86th Assembly seat
Mosinee Mayor Brent Jacobson formally announced his candidacy for the 86th State Assembly seat as a Republican to a full room on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee.
Brent has entered the race to give the voters a choice this election between election-driven policies and policies for a stronger future Wisconsin.
Jacobson’s campaign platform includes: getting back to responsibly raising revenue and implementing reforms that spend that revenue wiser; focusing tax dollars on the public schools that need help the most; moving toward meaningful reforms that are going to make Wisconsin a true competitor in our country for retaining the businesses we have and for attracting new ones; and giving local governments the resources they need to reduce the drug epidemic.
Brent will be going door-to-door in the coming months and making appearances throughout the district in order to listen to the concerns of the voters in the district.
