Engage kids in reading and learning at MCPL Rothschild Branch
Reading is an essential part of any child’s learning, and parents and caregivers can learn engaging reading techniques from an experienced Marathon County Public Library staff member! MCPL will offer its “Reading Together for Fun and Learning” program on February 6 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Rothschild Branch, 211 N. Grand Ave., Rothschild.
Dave Gregersen, retired early childhood educator and current branch assistant at our Rothschild and Mosinee Branches, will talk about how to engage young children in reading, how to use a book as a learning tool and how to make reading fun! Attendees can also share their own ideas and pick up some ideas of good books to read to their children.
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-359-6208 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4177.
