MCPL Wausau to screen film adaptation of ‘The Glass Castle’

The Marathon County Public Library will screen the 2017 film adaptation of Jeannette Wall’s best-selling memoir “The Glass Castle” on November 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
The film stars Academy Award-winner Brie Larson as Jeannette Walls, who reflects on her unconventional upbringing at the hands of her artsy, nonconformist parents, played by Woody Harrelson and Naomi Watts. After Jeannette marries a man who works in finance in New York, she faces criticism from her parents that she’s betrayed their values. Rated PG-13, with a running time of 127 minutes.
