Learn how to borrow free e-books during classes at MCPL Wausau
There’s a new app available for accessing free e-books and audiobooks with your library card, and its name is Libby! The public is invited to learn how to access free content using Libby during a free class on December 5 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. A second, identical class will be held on December 7 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Library staff will instruct attendees on how to download Libby to their smartphone or tablet, as well as how to search the digital catalog, check out materials, place holds and more! Attendees are asked to bring their library card and their own electronic device on which to download the app.
This event is free and open to the public, with registration required. For more information or to register, call 715-261-7230 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/4070.
