Free Winter Shopping Shuttle to run Friday, Dec 8
Anyone can ride the shopping shuttle bus from Mosinee to Rib Mountain on Friday, Dec. 8. Pickups are scheduled at Mosinee United Methodist Church (607 13th St.) at 9 a.m., Maplewood Apartments (508 6th St.) at 9:20 a.m., and Acorn Hill (430 Orbiting Dr.) at 9:30 a.m.
The shuttle stops at several stores and restaurants along Rib Mountain Drive including WalMart, Kohl’s, Michael’s, and others, and returns to Mosinee by 1 p.m.
Cost to ride is normally $5, but will be free this trip, thanks to a generous individual sponsor.
The shuttle is co-sponsored by area churches, organizations and individuals. For information or to reserve a spot, call Mosinee United Methodist Church at 715-693-2125 prior to noon on Thursday, Dec. 7.
