United Way RSVP of Marathon County invites you to attend the   annual 55+VolunteerFest.  This is a festival for those 55 and older to celebrate the contribution of volunteer service provided by older adults in our community and is sponsored by Ascension. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 18, from 4:00 -6:00 pm at the Holiday Inn at Cedar Creek in Rothschild. Enjoy live music by JG Lightborne, local wine tasting by Lil Ole Winemaker Shoppe, Pearl Street Brewery beer tasting by Mid-Wisconsin Beverage, appetizers, refreshments and a chance to win some great door prizes.  Meet, socialize and have a good time with other community minded people like yourself. This is a great opportunity to invite friends or neighbors to learn about RSVP and volunteering. You’ll also have the chance to visit with representatives of over 30 nonprofit organizations who will have information tables and be available to talk with you. This is a great event for everyone 55+, but especially helpful to anyone who wants to find out more about volunteering in a fun, easy way.  Everyone 55+ is invited!
