Make a steampunk-style necklace this October at MCPL Edgar Branch
Throughout the month of October, middle school-age students are invited to the Marathon County Public Library to celebrate the Month of the Young Adolescent! Kids can celebrate by making their own steampunk necklace throughout October at the Edgar Branch Library, 224 S. Third Ave., Edgar.
Kids can stop by any time the library is open during the month of October to make their own steampunk necklace using cord, a variety of charms and other materials. A special instructional necklace-making event will be held October 11 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Edgar Branch. This event is in collaboration with the Edgar School District’s recognition of the Month of the Young Adolescent, which brings together a wide range of organizations to focus on needs and issues surrounding middle school students (generally those ages 10-15.)
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-352-3155 or visit https://mcpl.us/events?event_id=4043.
