Visit MCPL Wausau for an Anime Apocalypse After Dark August 24
Visit the Marathon County Public Library to experience the end of the world, anime style! MCPL will offer its Anime Apocalypse After Dark on August 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
The library will screen a series of apocalypse-themed anime series, including “Guilty Crown,” which happens 10 years after a virus has killed of a large portion of the world’s population; “Wolf’s Rain,” about a group of survivors in search of Paradise; and “Casshern SINS,” which follows the attempts by survivors of a plague to kill off the assassin who took away their last hope for a cure. All anime series shown carry a rating of TV-MA or R-17+ and are intended for mature audiences only.
