New Pokémon Club for tweens to meet monthly at MCPL Wausau
Pokémon seems to be everywhere you look, from the popular trading card game to the anime series to the popular Pokémon GO app. The Marathon County Public Library is getting in the game with its new monthly Pokémon Club, which kicks off September 7 from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at MCPL’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau!
Different Pokemon-related activities will be offered each month, along with the opportunity to play the trading card game and (with parental permission) trade your cards with other players. Don’t know how to play the game? Borrow some of our cards and we’ll teach you how! This club is geared for upper elementary and middle school-aged, but open to kids of all ages.
