Learn how to make the most of your apples at MCPL Hatley Branch

Do you generally have a surplus of apples each fall? Learn different ways of preserving your harvest with a free informational presentation on August 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley.
Jackie Carattini, Marathon County UW-Extension’s family living educator, will teach how to preserve your apple harvest. Whether it is freezing, making applesauce, making apple butter or dehydrating apple slices, we will give you research-based recipes and methods to ensure a safe and tasty product.
