Learn how to dehydrate and ferment food at MCPL Spencer Branch

Learn how to do all of that and more during a free presentation on food dehydration and fermentation on September 5 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Spencer Branch, 105 S. Park St., Spencer!
Jackie Carattini, family living agent with the Marathon County UW-Extension, will discuss different types of dehydrators and what to look for when purchasing one. She’ll also discuss methods for dehydrating a variety of fruits, vegetables and meats. In addition, Carattini will talk about how to safely ferment veggies and other food items.
