Teens invited to attend six-week creative writing workshop at MCPL
Teens interested in improving their creative writing skills or looking to get feedback from peers won’t want to miss the Marathon County Public Library’s creative writing workshop, beginning July 17 from 4:30-6 p.m. at MCPL’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau!
Each week during this six-week workshop, teens will be encouraged to submit works to be read and critiqued by the rest of the group, with everyone providing and accepting constructive feedback. Additional writing prompts and short discussions of published pieces will also be offered to facilitate the writing practice and help participants challenge themselves as writers! This workshop will be held every Monday through August 21, with attendance at all sessions strongly encouraged.
