MCPL Wausau to host monthly open mic poetry night July 13
If you’re an aspiring poet or just appreciate the art of written verse, come see how talented your fellow central Wisconsinites are during the next Random Moments of Verse poetry night on July 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Local poets from around the area are encouraged to come read during this open mic night, and no topic or form of poetry is off-limits! Folks can read their own work, the work of other poets or just sit back and listen (every open mic night needs an audience!) Stop in, listen, and see where the night takes you!
