Help others across Marathon Co. with program at MCPL Edgar Branch
Folks of all ages are invited to the Marathon County Public Library to learn about several different ways you can give back to the community this summer with its “Create and Donate” program! The program will run July 26 through August 22 at MCPL’s Edgar Branch, 224 S. Third Ave., Edgar, with a special kick-off presentation on July 26 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Edgar will present various items that can be made and then given to other charitable organizations in the surrounding community.
Folks can make hats, scarves or mittens for the Circle of Joy of Marathon and Edgar; blankets for the Salvation Army of Wausau; stuffed sock animals for the Edgar Police Department; and dog and cat toys for the Marathon County Humane Society. Stop in any time between July 26 and August 22 to create and donate!
This program is open to the public with no registration required. For more information, call 715-352-3155 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/?event_id=3738.
