Young professionals group to host wacky golf outing
Hype will host an unconventional, nine-hole golf outing at Greenwood Hills Country Club & Event Center on Wednesday, Aug. 23. The Mad Ball Scramble will offer fun and friendly competition for golfers of all skill levels and non-golfers. Last year’s Mad Ball Scramble brought together young professionals from a variety of industries and this year’s event will again mix twosomes and individual golfers into teams to maximize the networking impact of the event.
The event will include various hole activities, including a dizzy putt on hole number one, golfers driving from the side opposite their natural swing on hole number three and teeing off Happy Gilmore-style on hole number four. Hole eight will challenge participants with an obstacle course. Other holes will offer a chance to putt with a croquet mallet and an opportunity to tee off using a padded club.
