Wausau Homes, 10805 Bus. Hwy, 51 S., Rothschild, will be hosting the AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall July 19-23. Join in honoring all who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country’s freedom and salute our men and women in the United States Armed Forces.

From 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, the AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall will receive an escort from Wausau West High School to Wausau Homes. Opening ceremonies will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The Wausau Concert Band will play from 7-8 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.

On Friday, Police, Fire, K9, SWAT, and Bomb Squad vehicles will be on display, with color guard at 1 p.m. and Wausau Homes open house from 4-8 p.m.

National Guard vehicles will be on display Saturday. Wausau Homes will offer an open house from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with color guard at noon and Adventures in the Spirit Creative Ministry at 1:30 p.m. A Ride of Honor will be held at 3 p.m. and a candlelight vigil at 8:30 p.m.

Sunday will also feature National Guard vehicles. A church service will be held from 10-11 a.m. and Wausau Homes will hold a open house from 11 a.m.-2 pm. Color guard is at noon and the closing ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. with Echo taps and a balloon release.
