Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services provides grief support to everyone in the community, regardless of their involvement with hospice prior to the death of their loved one. Ministry’s grief support groups are monthly adult gatherings for individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. These gatherings provide a caring community for learning about grief, finding support, sharing memories, and identifying feelings. New times and dates for the following groups will begin July 1, 2017.

  • Marshfield: Second Wednesday of each month, Noon – 1:30 p.m. at Ministry Home Care, 303 W. Upham Street in Marshfield. Their next meeting will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
  • Plover: Third Tuesday of each month, 4 – 5:30 p.m. at Ministry Home Care, 1840 Post Road, Suite 5 in Plover. Their next meeting will be Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
  • Wausau: First Tuesday of each month, 1:30 – 3 p.m. at Ministry Home Care, 2600 Stewart Avenue, Suite 160 in Wausau. Their next meeting will be Tuesday, August 1, 2017. (No July meeting due to Fourth of July holiday).
  • Wisconsin Rapids: Fourth Wednesday of each month, Noon – 1:30 p.m. at Ministry Home Care, 1000 E. Riverview Expressway, Suite 180 in Wisconsin Rapids. Their next meeting will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

There is no fee to attend, no pre-registration is required and all adults are welcome. For more information on this and other grief support opportunities, please contact Ministry Home Care’s Gretchen Iverson, 800.398.1297 (Plover/ Wausau) or Tony Massey, 800.397.4216.
