Annual Chamber golf outing to be held at the Wausau Country Club
SCHOFIELD — The Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce will host their 28th annual golf outing on Monday, June 26 at the Wausau Country Club. New this year, the Chamber is offering both a morning, nine-hole golf option and an afternoon 18-hole outing.
Chamber members who would like to make new business contacts, develop existing relationships, close a sale or strengthen their team, will find that time spent on the course at this event will yield a relaxing and productive experience. Non-member guests are welcomed to participate with an invitation from a member and pre-registration.
All nine-hole golfers are invited to join the 18-hole golfers for the evening reception. The nine-hole outing begins at 8:30 a.m. The 18-hole outing begins at noon. Registration includes access to the practice range and range balls, a golf cart, two drink tickets, a boxed lunch, a goody bag and the buffet reception. Golfers will also have a chance to participate in a $10,000 hole-in-one prize and various other contests. Awards will be presented for first place for teams of men and women, for the second place team and for the last place team.
A buffet reception begins at 6 p.m. with award and raffle winners named at 7 p.m. The Dirks Group is the presenting sponsor and Ruder Ware LLSC the platinum sponsor for the event.
