Learn how to preserve your garden’s bounty at MCPL Mosinee Branch
You did all the work to get your garden to grow, now learn how to make the most out of your summer harvest with an introduction to food preservation and dehydration on May 8 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Mosinee Branch, 123 Main St., Mosinee!
Jackie Carattini, family living agent with Marathon County UW-Extension, will demonstrate the proper and safe ways to dehydrate food, as well as teach other basics of food preservation. This is the first of several food preservation programs at the Mosinee Branch throughout the summer.
