Wausau West High School recognized as Pacesetter School in Advanced Placement
Wausau West High School was recognized by the Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council (WAPAC) as a Level 3 Pacesetter School in Advanced Placement during the 2015-2016 school year. Pacesetter schools provide impressive student access to AP courses and post excellent AP exam scores. To be recognized as a Level 3 school more than 10 percent of the school’s students must take AP exams and more than 60 percent of those test-takers must receive a score of 3 or higher.
The Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council is comprised of Wisconsin secondary and collegiate educators who are dedicated to expanding access to AP coursework and rigorous learning for all college bound students. Visit WAPAC for more information.
