Ribbon cutting ceremony to be held at the Marathon County Public Library
The Marathon County Public Library will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of a new Wausau Community Room at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5 at 300 North First Street. The event is open to the public and will be followed by an open house to be held until 4 p.m.
“The new Wausau Community Room will allow better access to the public for meetings at the library.” said Ralph Illick, director of the Marathon County Public Library. “We are honored to have partnered with the Marathon County Public Library Foundation, who funded half of the cost of this project. They have been an integral part of the library’s success and we appreciate their continued support as we move forward.”
The Marathon County Public Library is open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. For more information on the Library, visit their site or call 715-261-7200.
