Visit MCPL Wausau for a “gross” lesson on the human body Jan. 12

The human body can sometimes do strange and surprising things, but now kids can find out why some of those things happen! The Marathon County Public Library will offer a lesson in “Grossology” on January 12 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Kids in grades K-5 will learn about various functions of the body and why they happen, such as how germs travel and how scabs form. Then, they’ll have the opportunity to participate in some gross hands-on activities, like making their own “snot” and “scabs!” All supplies will be provided.
This event is free and open to all kids and families with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7220 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/?event_id=3111.
