Learn how to bolster your bank account and credit at MCPL Wausau
When it comes to saving money, building your credit score and applying for a credit card, there can be a lot to consider. Let the Marathon County Public Library help answer some of your burning questions with its “Financial Literacy for Teens and Young Adults” class on February 7 , 4:30 – 6 p.m. at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. A second session of the class will also be held February 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Anne Heggelund, president of Marathon County Employees Credit Union, will share advice for setting up and maintaining checking and savings accounts at any local credit union or bank. Heggelund will also explain how to understand, build and use credit.
