Infants can learn while getting messy on MCPL’s Messy Monday
Parents with kids 2 years and younger can get their hands a little dirty with the Marathon County Public Library’s Messy Monday program! The monthly program will start again on Jan. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at MCPL’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Participants can expect fun and slightly messy hands-on activities that will help babies develop fine motor skills, grow their vocabulary, and explore the world around them. Caregivers will also learn about the importance of interacting with and doing activities with their babies and pick up some early literacy and development tips to use at home.
Messy Mondays is generally held on the final Monday of each month, following MCPL’s Book Babies story time. Upcoming dates include:
- Mon., 2/27/17, 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. @ MCPL Wausau
