Hone your craft with MCPL’s Creative Writing Workshop for Teens
Are you a teen who loves to write? Do you want to share your work with others and grow as a writer? Then join the Marathon County Public Library’s next Creative Writing Workshop for Teens, which starts Jan. 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Each week, participants of the workshop will bring in a piece of writing to share with others in the group. Peers and the workshop leader will offer creative feedback of the piece to consider when working on future drafts. Writing warm-ups and prompts will also be provided to keep attendees’ creative juices flowing. Participants should come to the first meeting with 10 copies of a piece of writing they would like feedback on.
Creative Writing Workshop for Teens will be a four-week course, with future sessions on:
- Mon., 2/6/17, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. @ MCPL Wausau
- Mon., 2/13/17, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. @ MCPL Wausau
