Snow Strider Program offered at Nine Mile
The Wausau Nordic Ski Club is offering a program in 2017 for children ages 4-9, called Snow Striders. This program will meet all Sundays 1/8/2017-2/5/2017, from 2-3 p.m., with registration at 1:30 p.m. at Nine Mile Forest in Wausau.
The Snow Strider program has been very successful for many years, and provides a ski experience for children using classic skis, that includes an Adventure Park and an Olympic Field of Dreams. The children can use their own equipment or the equipment available at Nine Mile chalet. Experienced ski instructors and coaches provide instruction and fun activities for the children.
